Managed Service Overview
Alere provides a range of services to people with long term conditions. The services are turnkey and include equipment provision, installation, training, maintenance, cleaning and calibration.
Home monitors are configured with the appropriate medical peripheral devices and question sets for the patient condition.
Technical Triage Service
The technical triage service provides a first line response to readings or responses that exceed a patient's pre-defined thresholds. Typically Alere's nurse contacts the patient to determine whether an error has been made, or if there is a contributing factor- effectively validating or rejecting the reading.
Clinical Triage Service
When presented with a valid reading that exceeds the patient's pre-defined thresholds our trained nurses then determine a course of action and escalate the situation to the appropriate clinical resource in the trust.
