History
Home Telehealth Limited was founded in 2002 to undertake EU consulting projects and assignments. In 2003 HTL's Managing Director, Peter Range became a board director of the UK eHealth Association.
In 2004 HTL received funding from Finance Wales to open the Cardiff office, and in tha same year HTL won the first NHS PASA tender for telehealth in Newham, London.
In 2007 HTL signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the Remote Nurse telehealth system, consequently winning the world's largest telehealth programme and national DH trial.
In 2011 Home Telehealth was acquired by Alere and changed it's name to Alere Connected Health Limited. To find out more about Alere visit www.alere.com
Managed Clinical Telehealth Services
In 2008 HTL took over the assets of Quality Healthcare at Home's care centre in Belfast, and won a number of contracts to provide telehealth services to people with chronic conditions in Northern Ireland. The number of patients and trusts have continued to grow in 2009.
Simultaneously HTL has grown the program management and support business provided to a number of NHS trusts in the UK.
